To bring Lilli/HEINER intra-muros by Lucie Depauw and Intégral dans ma peau by Stéphanie Marchais to the stage is to present the cast with demanding and subtle roles because of their acuity, poetry and musicality. Situated between humour and tragedy, a voyage of desire and of loss, in Lilli/HEINER a top notch sportman sees his body deteriorating because of his intensive doping, to the point where a decision imposes itself. Should he go over to the other side of the wall that separates the sexes, and if so how is he to live with his new-found dual personality? In Integral dans ma peau, Josh is a rebellious teenager who refuses to be manipulated by the power of others and, possessed by a mad desire for his physics and chemistry teacher, he finds himself ready to commit the direst of acts. With this theatric diptych Cécile Auxire-Marmouget and Christian Taponard explore the nature of the making of the most modern of monsters.
